How to Place an Order with 2DineIn (Desktop)
Hello readers! If you’re not too familiar with our website we wanted to take a moment to write up a how-to on placing an order on our desktop website for your benefit. If you would prefer a video, we have that too! You can view that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojr1ThfVVe4
The first step to placing an order is to input your address in the address field found on the homepage of our website at https://www.2dinein.com and click GO!
The next screen to come up will be our restaurant page where you will be able to see all of the restaurants that are available for your address. To view a restaurant’s menu, simply click the restaurant block you’re interested in and it will pull up everything that is available.
For the purposes of this how-to, we’re going to use Pom’s Thai Restaurant in South Portland (available for curbside and delivery!).
To add the items to your cart all you have to do is click the items on the menu and it will get added to your cart. If there are any additional options for the dish you selected, another pop-up will show asking you what you would like.
Now that we’ve made our food selections it is time to go to the checkout page. To checkout, just click “Checkout” found in the upper right-hand corner of your screen. That should bring you here:
This is the page where you can review your order to make sure you got everything on there that you wanted. This screen is also where you can input a coupon code if you have one. If this is your first time placing an order with us you can use code “NODELIVERY” to have your delivery fee removed for your first order. Once you’re all set, click continue which will bring you to the payment screen.
Here is where you put it in all of your credit card information. Currently, we are only accepting cards because all of our orders are considered “no contact.” Once that is all put in you can scroll down put a tip, select the phone number you would like to be reached at, and confirm the delivery address. Also, this is where you can put directions for your driver. Once done, click “Place Order.”
Now you’ve placed your order with 2DineIn! On this screen, we provide you with a tracker so you can see the status of your order.
