Updated Protocol in Regards to COVID-19

We at 2DineIn are taking the COVID-19 pandemic very seriously and are continuously making changes to how we operate in this confusing time.

Today, there was an official announcement from Governor Janet Mills that stated all restaurants and bars are to be closed by 6PM to the dine-in public. With that being said, delivery and curbside pickup are still valid options for getting your favorite local eats in your hands and we still are operating within our normal business hours.

With delivery still being an option in our area, we are upping the precautions we take in-house and how we interact with the restaurants and customers in the public. Currently, we are still not accepting cash orders as well as providing “No-contact” deliveries to the people of the Greater Portland area. We are also having our drivers take extra precautions such as wearing gloves and requiring them to wipe down their bags at the end of their shift with disinfectant wipes. One more thing we are doing in-house is making sure our drivers do not have a temperature at the beginning of their shift by using a no-touch thermometer. If a driver shows up to work and has a temperature higher than 100.4 we’ll have to send them home. We’d also like to mention that many of our partnering restaurants have made changes so that even the drivers do not make contact with the restaurant staff by enabling curbside pickup for not just their takeout patrons, but for us as well.

Our office workers are also taking precautions in-house. We have moved our desks to meet the CDC recommendation of 6ft from each other in order to improve upon our social distancing efforts as well as completely sanitizing the office when we start our day and at the end with a plethora of products.

We will continue to adapt to the situation as we learn more about the virus and its impact on our community that we all know and love.

Remember, we’re in this together and every one of you can make a difference in the spread of COVID-19. Practice social distancing, wash your hands, and above all else stay calm and be well.
